Giving Back

A Gift from St. Louisans to their neighbors and guests

With roots in the Veiled Prophet Organization and an ongoing commitment to promote the St. Louis region and enrich the quality of life for its citizens – Fair Saint Louis and Celebrate St. Louis Summer Concerts represent the very best of our community.  Not only are these events free and open to everyone, they help to promote the many other attractions that make St. Louis a great destination.

Since its inception, in addition to the Fair itself, the Fair Saint Louis Foundation continues to give back to the region in numerous ways:

Gifts to the Region
The Fair Saint Louis Foundation has underwritten numerous gifts to the St. Louis community including:

  • Lighting of the Eads Bridge,
  • Mississippi River Overlook Stage,
  • Mile-long Riverfront Promenade,
  • Grand Staircases beneath the Arch in partnership with the National Park Service.

Community Vendor Program
Each year, the Fair Saint Louis Foundation community vendor program provides local not-for-profit organizations the opportunity to raise funds for their respective organizations.  By providing volunteers during Fair Saint Louis and the Celebrate St. Louis Summer Concerts, these organizations share in the profits from beverage sales. Not only do these organizations raise vital funds to support their community programs, they also help to raise awareness of the positive impact they are making in our community.

Since the inception of the Fair Saint Louis community vendor program, volunteers have shared in the millions they have collectively raised for their for their respective organizations.

The Fair Saint Louis Foundation salutes the 2011 Community Vendor organizations:
